RULES AND REGULATIONS TO THE SLOVENIAN INTERNATIONAL
GRAND PRIX LEAGUE 2009
1. Candidates to awards /prize money/ domestic & foreign athletes/
2. Organizers prize money fund takes in consideration at least 8 best
results in senior men and 8 best results in senior women category according
To advance known criteria's. It is compulsory the organizer sends "document of proof" to Meeting commissioner concerning prize money payment to the athlete latest 10 days after the meeting.
3. SAF/Slovenian Athletic Federation/ shall lay out prize money payment to the 10 best ranking men and 10 best ranking women athletes.
Proclamation of all best in men and women category shall be taking place
latest one week after the last Slovenian Grand Prix Meeting.
4. Candidates for prize money are athletes entering at least 5 Grand Prix meetings in events that shall be officially announced by the organizers.
Being two athletes tie/equal in scoring, the better result is in favour according to IAAF Scoring Tables.
5. SAF shall lay out prize money payment latest 20.11.2009. Requiring and
claming for each payment appropriate documents( passport, name of bank and bank account number.)
6. It is obligatory for the organizer to lay out prior to the Meeting competition for junior categories.
7. Boys and girls by category are not allowed to enter the Slovenian
International Grand Prix Athletic League 2009.
8. In case of distinction all clarification is under the restriction of the
Slovenian National Federation, having its Commissioner for
the International Athletic Grand Prix League 2009.
EXPLANATION TO SCORING:
1. Scoring to athletes achievements/individual events 1-8 place by system 8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 points
2. Bonus-2 points ; achieved event record in International Grand Prix League 2009 3-points-B Entry Standard for IAAF World Championships –Berlin 4- points- NR in Senior category; A Entry Standard for World IAAF Championships -Berlin 2009
3. Bonus does not sum up
4. Malus: if result in individual events does not reach to 900 points according to IAAF Scoring, 50% less points are achieved in ranking.
5. Foreign competitors are taken in consideration by bonus, only when achieved record of the International Grand Prix.
